FAQ
What is a restaurant furniture program?
A furniture program is a locked package of furniture items - booths, chairs, tables, front-of-house pieces - defined once by drawings, finishes and reference samples, then ordered repeatedly for each new store of a chain or franchise. Rollout Seat (a line by EASEN Commercial Furniture) builds and manages these packages so every store opens with the same specification.
How do you keep store 20 identical to store 1?
Every item is held under an approved drawing, a finish code list and a signed reference sample, all with a revision number. Production for each store is checked against the reference sample. If your team approves a change, it becomes a new revision and we record which stores receive it, so differences are deliberate and documented.
What lead time should we plan for a store opening?
Lead times are typically 30-45 days for standard designs and 45-60 days for custom work after drawing and sample approval, plus ocean transit and customs clearance. Each quote confirms the lead time. For planning, most chains release the store order 14-20 weeks before the furniture install date, depending on destination.
Can you pack and label furniture by store?
Yes. Each store's order is packed as a kit with labels showing store number, zone, item code and carton x of y, with a packing list and floor-plan install sheet per store. Kits can ship in their own container, share a container with another store, or be split into phased deliveries.
Do you ship to the US, Canada and the UK?
Yes. We export-pack and ship by sea from South China. We quote FOB at the port of loading, CIF to your destination port, or DDP delivered on request. Under FOB and CIF, your forwarder and customs broker handle import; under DDP, the delivered price includes clearance and duties as stated in the quote.
Is there a minimum order per store?
Minimums are low for contract orders and confirmed per design. Most chains order complete store kits; small top-up orders for repairs or extra seats can be consolidated with the next store's shipment to keep freight efficient. Mixed-SKU container loads are welcome.
Can franchisees order directly?
Yes, if the franchisor approves it. We can hold the brand's locked package and accept orders from approved franchisees against it, with pricing and terms agreed with the franchisor. Every franchisee order is built to the same revision unless the brand approves a variant.
What happens if a cushion or chair is damaged after opening?
Replacement parts are ordered by item code and revision, so they match without measuring. Our booth designs include replaceable seat and back pads, front-edge strips and corner guards, so most damage is repaired by swapping a part rather than replacing a booth. We recommend holding a small stock of spares regionally.
Can the furniture meet US or UK flammability rules?
We specify fire-retardant foams and contract-grade fabrics to the destination market's rules on request, such as CAL TB 117-2013 in the US or BS 5852-based requirements for UK contract use, and supply test reports for specific items where available. Confirm the requirement for your occupancy with your fire consultant or local authority.
Do you offer samples before the rollout?
Yes. Pre-production samples of key items are built to the proposed drawings and finishes. Once your team approves them, they become the reference standard for the program. Finish strike-offs are available for wood, metal and laminate codes.
How do you reduce freight cost per store?
By designing for packing: flat-pack and nesting booths, knock-down host stands and tables with removable bases all reduce packed volume. We calculate the packed volume of each store kit and propose a container plan, which may combine stores or phases to fill containers efficiently.
Who installs the furniture?
Usually your general contractor or an FF&E installer. Our booth constructions use alignment pins, bolted joints and adjustable levelers so non-specialist crews can install consistently. Each store kit ships with install sheets keyed to the floor plan and item labels.
Do you make prototype or flagship variants?
Yes. Flagship or regional variants are managed as separate revisions of the standard items - for example a different fabric or a higher back - so they do not contaminate the standard package. Each store order states which revision it uses.
Where is the furniture made?
In our own production base in Lecong, Shunde District, Foshan, Guangdong, China - the world's largest furniture trading hub. Frames, upholstery, metalwork and packing are handled there, and furniture ships direct from the factory to your port or site.
